PAT PASSLOF: ARCADIAN VISIONS

The Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation is proud to present Pat Passlof: Arcadian Visions — a selection of gouaches on paper from the 1990s, on view November 5, 2021 -February 26, 2022.

Pat Passlof painted innumerable scenes of woodland landscapes in gouache. Often they were a meld of observation and imagination, not infrequently replete with nymphs, centaurs, and druidic stone markers. However, this exhibition focuses on unpeopled landscapes where Pat’s fascination with the natural world holds sway. She bathes the works in a watery light that yields easily to the wayward touch of her brush.
